Everything about Official Tartans In Canada totally explained

Canada's provinces and territories (except for Nunavut), as well as many other divisions in Canada, have officially recognized tartans. Tartans were first brought to Canada by Scottish settlers, and in 1955, Nova Scotia was the first province to adopt an official tartan.
